Sony 4K HD FDRAX33

NPI is getting an UPGRADE!

Zomodo 8 Channel Infrared DVR System

Literally our eyes. Being a 3 man crew we are unable to know what is going on everywhere at once. We will hopefully have someone manning base camp and watching the monitors to let us know if any activity occurs. The unit has a 500GB hard drive (for now) and continuously records as soon as we go live.

Infrared Still Camera

Another point and shoot this one is this one captures the Infrared light spectrum.

K2 EMF Meter

Another pivotal tool that anyone in the paranormal community is familiar with. If not, there here you go.. This device provides instantaneous readings in the form of spikes via the LED lights, to detect fluctuations in Earth’s natural Electromagnetic Fields. Has an accuracy of 5% at 50-60 Hz & Detects ELF range (30 to 1,000 Hz) & VLF range (1,000 to 20,000 Hz) and is a great tool for directly communicating with those that can not be seen.

Voice Recorders

Allow us to continuously record or perform burst Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) sessions. Each team member will have at least one at all time throughout the investigation

2-Way Radios

Your basic Walkie Talkie with a range of 13 miles to allow the team to communicate with each other when separated. Will also be used by base camp to reach us if they see anything on the DVR cameras.

FLIR One 3rd Gen

Our Android compatible thermal imager.  Helping us see hot and cold spots, as well as wildlife trying to pose as something supernatural.

Structured Light Sensor Camera

More commonly known as the SLS camera.  Dakota made this using a Kinect, Windows tablet, and a few other things and is now one of our favorite tools.  The Kinect cameras form a large grid of IR lights that make it possible to actually map in figures that can not be seen with the naked eye.

Samsung Gear 360

Offering the viewers a full HD 360° view of whatever location we are at. Fully interactive too!

Sony SR12

Yes, they are a little outdated but when on a budget these certainly do the trick.  These are the main handheld cams used by the teams during our investigation when the lights go out.

Static Cameras

Stationary Infrared camcorders, commonly called “static cams.”

P-SB7 Spirit Box

One of the most well known and often used piece of equipment throughout the paranormal community. FM and AM frequency sweep equally balanced which includes an additional 119 new frequencies from 76MHz to 87.9MHz. Fancy way of saying that it sweeps through radio channels at a speed that a single word, especially multiple words, is basically impossible. One of the main tools of “intelligent” interaction.

Tascam DR-05

This powerful directional microphone allows users to listen to sounds up to 300 feet away. Great for listening to disembodied voices.

Infrared Lights

The lights that allow us to see in the dark.  Well, at least through our camera’s viewfinder. In actuality, we can not see a damn thing.  Luckily, I did learn a trick or two in the military and now make our teams’ IR Lights. Using LEDs with 30, 45, and 60-degree viewing angles we can use them as spotlights as well as camera lights.

Mel Meter

Simultaneous EMF and Temperature Readout with Red Illuminated Display.

Zoom H1

JT's go-to when recording pretty much everything.  Outstanding quality in many situations.

Boo Buddy

Developed by the guys over at, Boo Buddy has in a way become another member of our team.  Not only does he detect temperature fluctuations, but can be left alone with a recorder and will conduct his own EVP session.

Full Spectrum Cameras

We usually wear these as POV cameras as another set of eyes. Eyes that can see the full light spectrum from Infrared to Ultra Violet

3DR Solo

Our eyes in the sky.  Great tool for capturing aerial shots of locations and accessing places that we would not be able to otherwise.

In addition to detecting AC/DC EMF & Ambient Temperature changes in the environment, this new feature also uses a mini telescopic antenna to radiate its own independent Magnetic Field around the instrument.

Used for on-site reviewing of evidence and editing.

Laser Grid

Emits a grid of dots useful for detecting shadows or visual disturbances during an investigation.

Ovilus V

Uses the environment around it to generate words.  We are honestly a little up in the air about this piece of equipment, but I'll admit we get some pretty intriguing responses.  We have learned that this MUST be stationary to be used.

Sony CyberShot

Your basic point and shoot 14 Megapixels camera. This is used got it, take pictures throughout the investigation.

Samsung Note 8

4K video recording at 30 fps, 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps or 60 fps, 720p HD video recording at 30 fps

LG v30+

4K Video Recording at 30 FPS
