A quick look at the MEL-Meter.

May 24, 2017

I just want to take a second to step away from all of the horrors that are happening in the world today and escape. Escape into something that I love. This may seem like a cheap sales ploy, but its not, I just want to take a minute to talk to you about one of the more popular pieces of gear that you may or may not be familiar with. This piece of equipment is the MEL-Meter, more specifically the more advanced REM-ATDD version. First, let me give you a little bit of history on the MEL Meter as most people are not aware of it's origins. Gary Galka of Granby, Connecticut, lost his daughter Melissa in a tragic automobile accident in 2004. He believed that he still had a strong connection to Melissa after the accident, catching multiple EVP’s which can be interpreted as “I love you daddy.” That wasn’t enough for Gary. Being an electrical engineer, he decided to build a device to further communicate with his late beloved daughter, and the original MEL(issa)-Meter was born. These days there are multiple variations of the product, but in my opinion the original is still my favorite. We will soon be purchasing the newest edition ourselves, so I will probably be putting my foot in my mouth, but for now I will stand by my statement. The range gets down to 30Hz, and it has a custom dual display that correlates EMF and Temperature Cold Spots simultaneously which is extremely convenient. No need to carry around a thermometer anymore. Anyway, for the full specs and to purchase this amazing product for yourself or team, visit the amazing guys at GhostStop.
